Russia Launches Massive Drone Attack on Ukraine for Third Consecutive Night

On Monday, May 26, 2025, Russia launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine for the third consecutive night. According to Ukrainian authorities, Russian forces launched 355 drones overnight, marking the largest drone attack since the invasion began on February 24, 2022.

The attacks resulted in at least six deaths and 24 injuries across multiple regions (oblasts) within the last 24 hours. Regional authorities reported the casualties on May 26, 2025.

Ukraine's Air Force reported that Moscow's army launched nine Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS bomber aircraft. They also reported a record number of 355 Shahed combat drones and decoys were fired overnight.
