Edited by: gaya ❤️ one

On July 25, 2025, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) forces conducted a raid in the town of al-Bab, Syria, resulting in the death of senior ISIS leader Dhiya' Zawba Muslih al-Hardani and his two adult sons, Abdallah Dhiya al-Hardani and Abd al-Rahman Dhiya Zawba al-Hardani. The operation, which involved an airdrop and support from Syrian government General Security forces and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), targeted individuals posing a threat to U.S. and Coalition forces, as well as the new Syrian government. Civilian casualties were avoided, with three women and three children at the site unharmed. This marks the first such airdrop mission by the coalition against ISIS this year.

The raid underscores the ongoing efforts to dismantle ISIS leadership and disrupt the group's operations in the region. CENTCOM remains committed to the enduring defeat of ISIS terrorists who threaten regional stability and global security.
