Iaea: Iran conducted undeclared nuclear activities at three sites

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

Vienna, May 31 - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has reported that Iran conducted secret nuclear activities at three undeclared locations. These activities involved nuclear material that was not declared to the U.N. nuclear watchdog.

The IAEA's confidential report, seen by Reuters, indicates that these locations were part of an undeclared structured nuclear program. This program was active until the early 2000s, according to the IAEA's comprehensive report.

The report, requested by the IAEA's Board of Governors in November, concludes that some activities involved undeclared nuclear material. The IAEA continues to investigate these matters.
