Exolaunch Prepares for September 2025 Transporter-15 Mission, Featuring New CarboNIX NEO System

Edited by: Tetiana Martynovska 17

Exolaunch, a leading global provider of launch and deployment services, is preparing for its significant Transporter-15 mission, scheduled for September 2025. This mission is notable for carrying payloads from 15 different countries, highlighting Exolaunch's extensive international reach and its crucial role in enabling global access to space.

The Transporter-15 mission will utilize Exolaunch's advanced deployment technologies, including the EXOpod Nova CubeSat deployers, CarboNIX separation rings, and Quadro Arrow microsatellite separation units. These systems are engineered for the precise and gentle release of satellites, minimizing potential shock during deployment.

A key feature of this upcoming mission is the debut of Exolaunch's new CarboNIX NEO separation system. This next-generation technology is an advancement of their established CarboNIX system, designed to accommodate heavier satellites with capabilities for payloads up to 1,000 kg. The CarboNIX NEO incorporates an enhanced clamp ring system, offering superior strength and stiffness, which allows for the launch of more substantial spacecraft than previous iterations. This innovation is particularly relevant as SpaceX refines its launch criteria for mass and center-of-gravity guidelines.

Exolaunch has maintained a strong partnership with SpaceX's Transporter rideshare missions since their inception in 2020, participating in every Transporter mission to date. Across 39 previous missions, Exolaunch has successfully deployed over 580 satellites, establishing itself as a leader in the satellite deployment industry. Notably, Exolaunch's largest mission to date, Transporter-14 in June 2025, carried 27 payloads totaling over 1,500 kg. The Transporter-15 mission further demonstrates Exolaunch's commitment to providing reliable space access for a diverse international clientele.

With its advanced deployment hardware, extensive experience, and forward-looking approach to technological development, Exolaunch is positioned as a key enabler for the growing satellite constellation market and broader space exploration initiatives. The company's ongoing innovation, exemplified by the CarboNIX NEO system, ensures its continued prominence in the rapidly evolving launch services sector.
