Xinjiang Shares Renewable Energy Expertise With Central Asia

Since May 15, Xinjiang, China, has been hosting a renewable energy training program for 25 officials and experts.

Participants are from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Moldova. The program focuses on new electricity and energy systems, led by Wang Yong from State Grid Xinjiang Electric Power Research Institute.

Xinjiang, rich in solar and wind resources, aims to share its experience in building new electricity systems with Central Asian countries.
