AI Alive uses AI to add motion and sound effects to images. For example, it can animate the sky, clouds, or sea in a photo, responding to sounds like wind or waves. Users can access the feature through the Story Camera, select a photo, and tap the AI Alive icon. Tiktok labels all AI-generated content and incorporates C2PA metadata to ensure transparency. The platform also employs multiple verification steps, including image checks and AI-generated text question responses. This launch underscores TikTok's commitment to accessible and responsible AI use in social media.
