Google Launches Notebooklm App on Android and Ios

Edited by: Veronika Nazarova

Google has officially launched the NotebookLM app for both Android and iOS, bringing key features of the web version to mobile users. The app, which allows users to create notebooks from various sources, including PDFs, website URLs, and YouTube links, was made available after a pre-registration period. The initial release includes core functionalities such as Audio Overviews, which generates an AI-driven audio discussion based on the added sources. Users can download these audio files for offline listening and even interact with the AI hosts by asking questions. While some features like adding audio files, markdown text, and Google Docs are currently unavailable, Google plans to refine the app and add new functionalities in the coming months. The app is free to use, with a paid subscription option, NotebookLM Plus, offering access to more notebooks and sources via Google One AI Premium.
