Adobe has officially launched Acrobat Studio, a new platform designed to revolutionize document interaction and content creation by integrating advanced AI capabilities with its existing Acrobat and Adobe Express tools.
The platform introduces "PDF Spaces," a novel feature that allows users to consolidate up to 100 documents, including PDFs, Office 365 files, and web links, into a unified, conversational workspace. Within these spaces, an AI assistant analyzes the collective content, enabling users to query information, receive synthesized summaries, and generate new ideas, thereby streamlining research and analysis processes.
Acrobat Studio also offers customizable AI Assistants, which can be tailored for specific roles such as analyst or instructor, catering to diverse user needs. The seamless integration with Adobe Express provides a comprehensive suite of tools for content creation, allowing insights derived from documents to be readily transformed into visually engaging infographics, presentations, or social media posts without switching applications.
The platform retains all essential PDF tools from Acrobat Pro, ensuring users have a complete toolkit for editing, signing, combining, and protecting documents. This strategic move positions Adobe as a significant competitor in the productivity and collaboration market, directly challenging established suites like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
With over three trillion PDFs in circulation globally, Acrobat Studio aims to unlock new utility and intelligence within this ubiquitous file format. The service is available worldwide in English and offers a 14-day free trial, after which it operates on a subscription model, with early access pricing starting at $24.99 per month for individuals and $29.99 per month for teams.
