Microsoft continues to refine its Windows Insider Program, focusing on enhancing accessibility and resolving key issues. Recent updates in May 2025 bring improvements to Voice Access and address several bugs across different channels.
Voice Access Enhancements
Voice Access now features an immersive in-product experience, designed to help users discover and learn about new features and improvements more easily. This includes providing information and tips directly within the Voice Access interface, streamlining the user experience for those with mobility limitations.
Bug Fixes and Known Issues
Several bug fixes have been implemented, including addressing stylus input unresponsiveness on certain devices. However, some known issues persist, such as potential delays when performing intelligent text actions on Copilot+ PCs and issues with audio devices using high sampling rates. Microsoft is actively testing and gathering feedback, meaning that features and fixes are subject to change or removal as development progresses.
Insider Channels
Updates are rolling out across various Insider Channels, including Canary, Dev, and Beta, each offering different levels of stability and features. Users can select their preferred channel via Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program, keeping in mind that the Canary channel offers the earliest, but potentially most unstable, builds.
