Rome, OpenAI has launched a new feature for ChatGPT designed to simplify business meetings.
The new 'Record mode' allows users to record and transcribe meetings automatically. This feature is currently available for ChatGPT Team users on the macOS desktop app.
The virtual assistant can record online meetings, brainstorming sessions, and voice notes up to 120 minutes per session. The AI system generates detailed, editable transcripts and summaries after recording.
ChatGPT now integrates with cloud storage services like Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive. This allows users to access, search, and interact with documents directly through the app.
Recorded content is not used for model training, and audio files are deleted after transcription. Administrators can disable the recording function via workspace settings. The recording feature is currently available for ChatGPT Team users, with plans to expand to Enterprise, Edu, Pro, and Plus users.
