Blackview has launched the Active 12 Pro, a rugged tablet that integrates 5G connectivity with a built-in DLP projector, aiming to set a new standard for mobile versatility.
Engineered for demanding field work or immersive leisure, the Active 12 Pro features an integrated projector with 200 lumens of brightness and 1080p resolution, capable of projecting images up to 120 inches. This projector includes automatic correction and autofocus for ease of use.
The tablet is powered by a substantial 30,000 mAh battery, which supports up to 8 hours of projector use or 50 hours of web browsing. A 120W fast charging system replenishes the battery in approximately 2.5 hours and also allows for reverse charging of other devices.
For photography, the Active 12 Pro is equipped with a 108MP Samsung HM6 main camera and a 50MP front camera. The 11-inch IPS display boasts a 1200 x 1920 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate for vibrant visuals.
Its robust construction adheres to IP68, IP69K, and MIL-STD-810H standards, ensuring resistance to dust, water, and physical impact. The device is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C and can withstand pressures up to 2.2 tons.
Running on DokeOS_P 4.2, based on Android 15, the Active 12 Pro integrates AI engines like DeepSeek-R1, Gemini 2.0, and ChatGPT-4o mini for enhanced user experience and intelligent assistance. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset.
The tablet is available in two configurations: a 12GB RAM/256GB storage model priced at $529.99 and a 16GB RAM/1TB storage variant for $569.99. Pre-orders are open from August 18 to August 27, 2025.
Further enhancing its utility, the Active 12 Pro includes a 400-lumen dual-beam camping light with illumination and SOS functionality. Features like PC Mode 2.0 and stylus support are also included, transforming it into a versatile mobile workstation. Connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4.
