Apple to release HomePad with smart display in 2025

Apple is reportedly developing a new device called HomePad, a smart speaker with a small display designed for smart home system control. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple plans to release the HomePad in late 2025. The release was initially planned for this spring but was delayed due to Apple Intelligence development, which is critical for the device's functionality. HomePad is expected to be a hybrid of the HomePod speaker and the iPad tablet. It will feature a 7-inch screen, a front camera for FaceTime, and a custom homeOS with Apple Intelligence integration.
