Huawei, a Chinese tech giant, will launch its first PC line with HarmonyOS. This marks a significant expansion of Huawei's HarmonyOS ecosystem, already on smartphones and tablets. Huawei aims to challenge Windows and macOS with its own operating system. HarmonyOS PCs feature security enhancements, including a dedicated encryption chip. They also offer secure access mechanisms and encrypted data exchange. The new computers enable seamless interaction between Huawei devices. HarmonyOS supports connectivity with over 1,000 external devices. It currently features over 150 dedicated PC applications. Additionally, it has more than 300 applications compatible with the ecosystem.
