Volonaut Airbike: A Breakthrough in Personal Air Mobility

12:51, 01 August

Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

The Volonaut Airbike, a jet-powered hoverbike, has been unveiled, marking a significant advancement in personal air mobility. Developed by Tomasz Patan, the Airbike features an open-air design, allowing riders to experience flight with an unobstructed 360-degree view. Its compact size enables navigation through confined spaces, such as narrow valleys and forest paths. The vehicle is constructed using advanced carbon fiber materials and 3D-printed components, resulting in a lightweight structure. Powered by jet propulsion, the Airbike is designed for single-passenger use and is capable of reaching speeds up to 200 km/h (124 mph). A proprietary stabilization system, integrated with a flight computer, provides automatic hovering and ease of control for the rider. The Airbike's design draws inspiration from science fiction, resembling the speeder bikes featured in popular movies. As of now, the Airbike is in the prototype stage, and details regarding its commercial availability and pricing have not been announced. The development of the Volonaut Airbike represents a significant step forward in personal air mobility, blending innovative engineering with minimalist design.
