Edited by: Tetiana Pinchuk Pinchuk

Correos, Spain's national postal service, is enhancing its commitment to sustainable delivery by incorporating 700 additional cyber-secure electric motorcycles into its fleet. This expansion aims to bolster last-mile delivery efficiency while reducing environmental impact.

The new motorcycles are equipped with advanced cybersecurity features, ensuring protection against potential cyber threats. They offer a range of up to 120 kilometers on a single charge and can be easily recharged using standard electrical outlets.

By the end of 2025, Correos plans to have over 4,000 eco-friendly vehicles, including electric motorcycles and vans, representing approximately 25% of its total delivery fleet. This initiative aligns with the company's goal to have 25% of its delivery fleet electric and 50% utilizing alternative technologies by 2028.

Correos' ongoing investment in sustainable transportation underscores its dedication to reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmentally responsible practices within the logistics sector.
