Lyon Motor Show 2025: Global Premieres and European Debuts to Captivate Audiences

The European automotive landscape is set to be electrified with the highly anticipated Lyon Motor Show, taking place at Eurexpo Lyon from September 24th to September 28th, 2025. This premier event is expected to showcase over 50 new vehicle models, including two significant global premieres designed to set new benchmarks in automotive innovation and performance.

The show's increasing prominence is highlighted by the participation of 55 exhibitors, a notable increase from previous years. Esteemed brands such as Aspark, Cadillac, Isuzu, and Polestar will be present, alongside numerous European and French premieres. Headlining the global reveals are the Ferrari Amalfi, a contemporary grand tourer blending performance with comfort and usability, and the Aspark Owl Roadster, a Japanese electric hypercar poised to redefine performance in its segment. These introductions underscore Lyon's growing importance as a key destination for automotive manufacturers.

Attendees can anticipate a range of exciting new models from major manufacturers. Citroën will present its updated C5 Aircross, now featuring a larger 13-inch central touchscreen and a diverse offering of hybrid and electric powertrains. DS Automobiles will debut the DS N°8, an all-electric crossover SUV inspired by the DS AERO SPORT LOUNGE concept, emphasizing the brand's forward-thinking design and impressive electric range. Peugeot is set to revive the spirit of its iconic GTi badge with the all-electric e-208 GTi, boasting 280 horsepower and achieving 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. Aston Martin will command attention with the unveiling of the DBX S, an enhanced DBX707 with 717 horsepower, and the Vanquish Volante, a luxurious V12-powered grand tourer.

A new "Prestige Area" will be introduced at the 2025 Lyon Motor Show, dedicated to luxury vehicles, hypercars, and supercars, signifying an elevation in the event's premium positioning. This expansion reflects the show's growing appeal and commitment to a discerning clientele. Furthermore, attendees will have the opportunity to experience many of these groundbreaking vehicles firsthand through on-site test drives.

The Lyon Motor Show will be open to the public from Wednesday, September 24th, through Sunday, September 28th, 2025. A special extended evening opening is scheduled for Friday, September 26th, until 10:00 PM. The event continues to solidify its reputation as a vital platform for celebrating automotive passion, showcasing cutting-edge technology, and offering a comprehensive glimpse into the future of mobility for enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.
