Nissan Adjusts US Production Plans, Halts Sales of Two SUV Models Due to Tariffs

Nissan is revising its production reduction plans for US factories. The company will halt sales of Infiniti QX50 and QX55 SUV models produced in Mexico in the US. Nissan will maintain Nissan Rogue production at its Smyrna plant to avoid new tariffs. In 2024, Nissan sold 924,000 vehicles in the US, with 524,900 manufactured in the US.
