BYD is set to deploy its 1000 kW Megawatt Flash Charger in China, surpassing competitors like Tesla, Li Auto, Nio, and Xpeng. This technology will initially support the BYD Han L EV and Tang L EV models, utilizing a 1000-volt high-voltage system with 1500-volt silicon-carbide power electronics. The 1000 kW charging enables a 400 km range recharge in five minutes. The Han L EV boasts a 789 hp motor, a top speed of 305 km/h, and a sub-3-second 0-100 km/h acceleration, thanks to its Super e-Platform, capable of repeated acceleration runs.
