Saudi Arabia has launched the world's first AI doctor clinic in Al-Ahsa, marking a significant step in AI-driven healthcare. The clinic utilizes Dr. Hua, an AI system developed by Synyi AI, to provide digital consultations.
Patients interact with Dr. Hua via tablet, describing their symptoms. The AI analyzes data, including cardiograms and X-rays, with support from human assistants. Dr. Hua then proposes a treatment plan, which is reviewed by a human physician.
This innovative approach aims to improve medical data management and research. Currently, Dr. Hua focuses on respiratory illnesses, but there are plans to expand its capabilities to cover more diseases. The pilot program's data will be submitted to Saudi authorities for approval.
