OpenAI Tests 'Study Together' Feature in ChatGPT to Enhance Interactive Learning

15:25, 23 July

Edited by: Sergey Belyy

OpenAI is currently testing a new feature called 'Study Together' within ChatGPT, aiming to transform the AI into a more interactive educational tool. This feature encourages active learning by prompting users with questions and guiding them through study sessions, rather than simply providing direct answers. Early reports suggest that 'Study Together' may eventually support collaborative learning, allowing multiple users to engage in shared study sessions. However, OpenAI has not officially confirmed these capabilities or provided a timeline for a broader rollout. The feature is currently available to a limited group of users, primarily ChatGPT Plus subscribers, and its full functionality remains under development.
