Google's AI Generates Comedy Series 'Marisa Maiô' with Realistic Videos

Edited by: Veronika Radoslavskaya

A new comedy series, "Marisa Maiô," is gaining popularity on social media, with all its visuals generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The series is a satire created by influencer Raony Phillips, known for his work on "Girls in the House." The first video was made using Google's Veo 2, and subsequent videos used the newer Veo 3.

The AI-generated videos feature Marisa Maiô hosting a talk show, with the content already receiving millions of views and likes on Instagram. Phillips responded to criticism about using AI, stating that the jokes he wrote are what made the videos successful.

Google's Veo 3 is the tool behind the series, capable of creating realistic videos up to eight seconds long from text prompts, including sound and lip-sync. Access to Veo 3 is currently available through Google AI Ultra.
