Hangzhou, China - China Media Group (CMG) launched the world's first humanoid robot fighting competition on Sunday. The "Mech Combat Arena Competition" featured robots performing choreographed combat moves.

The robots learn fighting moves from human "shifus." Motion data from professional fighters was integrated into the robots' AI-backed control systems. This allows for dynamic, human-like agility.

Experts praise the event for pushing technological boundaries. The competition demonstrates stability and coordination in high-intensity scenarios. Zhejiang Province plans to foster cross-sector collaboration in humanoid robotics.

The tournament has resonated globally. Media outlets and international viewers have expressed enthusiasm for the event. The technology could revolutionize elder care, hazardous operations, and automation.

China is projected to produce over 10,000 humanoid robots by 2025. This would claim more than half the global market, reshaping industry and daily life.
