Allianz Trade and Inclusive Brains Introduce AI-Powered Mind-Controlled Keyboard

Edited by: Veronika Radoslavskaya

Allianz Trade, in collaboration with the French startup Inclusive Brains, has developed a revolutionary mind-controlled keyboard. This innovative solution offers new opportunities for people with limited mobility, enabling them to type text without physical contact with a device or the need for voice commands.

The keyboard utilizes Prometheus BCI (Brain-Computer Interface) technology, which analyzes neurophysiological signals such as eye movements, blinking, or minimal muscle contractions and converts them into text commands. This significantly improves digital accessibility and facilitates interaction with various digital tools.

Previously, this technology has proven its effectiveness by helping individuals with disabilities control exoskeletons and participate in sporting events. Now, it has reached a new milestone: it was used to send the world’s first tweet written using only brain signals, as well as to propose an amendment in the French parliament.

Allianz Trade and Inclusive Brains plan to make Prometheus BCI open-source, allowing developers worldwide to adapt and enhance the technology. This initiative highlights the importance of inclusive technologies in building a more accessible digital society.
