Samsung has launched its Galaxy Book 5 Pro laptops in South Korea, showcasing a strong focus on artificial intelligence. These laptops, available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, are powered by Intel's Core Ultra Processor Series 2, featuring dedicated NPU technology that delivers 47 TOPS of AI performance.
The devices sport 2.8K AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and incorporate Samsung's 'Vision Booster' technology for improved visibility in various lighting conditions. Notably, they promise an impressive 25-hour battery life, surpassing last year's models.
AI features include 'AI Select,' which allows users to quickly search for information on-screen and select text from images. The laptops also enhance video calls with an AI HDR mode for better image quality and offer a Photo Remaster utility to upscale low-resolution images.
While Samsung has yet to reveal pricing and storage options, the Galaxy Book 5 Pro is set to launch in South Korea on January 2, 2024, with potential international availability by mid-2025.
