Global music icon Ricky Martin has unveiled a reimagined version of his 1995 hit, "A Medio Vivir," originally written by Venezuelan author Franco De Vita, featuring a collaboration with Mexican artist Carín León. The new rendition, released on October 2, 2025, boasts modern production by Casta and Andrés Saavedra, aiming to honor the original's emotional depth while offering a fresh sound. A music video for the song is now available on Martin's official YouTube channel.

This musical release coincides with the announcement of Ricky Martin's "Ricky Martin Live" international tour for 2025. The tour is set to commence with two sold-out performances in Chile on October 4 and 5, followed by a global itinerary that includes stops in Australia, Europe, Mexico, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. Additional dates are expected to be announced.

In addition to the new single and tour, Ricky Martin was recently honored with the inaugural "Latin Icon Award" at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, where he also delivered a performance of his hit songs. The original "A Medio Vivir" album, released in 1995, achieved worldwide sales of over three million copies, with 1.3 million sold in Europe. The single "A Medio Vivir" itself reached number thirty-six on the US Hot Latin Songs chart and number eight on the US Latin Pop Airplay chart.

Carín León, known for his regional Mexican music style, brings his distinctive artistry to the collaboration. He is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including three Latin Grammys and one Grammy in 2025 for the album "Boca Chueca Vol. 1." Producers Casta and Andrés Saavedra are established figures in the music industry, with Casta being a Guatemalan DJ and producer influential in Central America's electronic music scene, and Saavedra, a Colombian producer, repeatedly nominated for Latin Grammy Awards.

The "Ricky Martin Live" tour will include dates in Australia in November 2025, including performances in Melbourne and Sydney. The tour will continue to Europe in December 2025, with planned stops in Spain, Romania, and Slovakia, before extending to the United States and the United Arab Emirates in early 2026.
