Retromigration has released his debut album, 'Change,' on Jensen Interceptor's International Chrome label as part of the Data Planet cassette series. The album, released on May 27, 2025, showcases bold, underground club sounds.
The German-Nigerian artist explores his musical memories across multiple genres. 'Change' features collaborations with Berlin newcomer YAZZUS, Irish electro producer Ngoni Egan, and Zimbabwean DJ Passion Deez. The album incorporates influences from footwork, jungle, and African/Caribbean rhythms.
The album's themes of celebration, amalgamation, and nostalgia are reflected in its artwork, which includes photos from the artist's childhood. 'Change' is available on limited edition teal tape and in digital formats via Bandcamp.
