Queen's Greatest Hits Achieves 650 Weeks on Billboard 200

20:13, 11 June

Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

The Billboard 200 chart, now incorporating streaming data, reflects shifts in music consumption. This change has allowed albums to maintain chart presence for extended periods. Queen's 'Greatest Hits' exemplifies this trend, marking a significant milestone.

The compilation has reached 650 weeks on the Billboard 200, a feat achieved by only a select few albums. It is the twelfth album in history to achieve this longevity, joining titles like Kendrick Lamar's 'Good Kid, M.A.A.D City'.

Other albums nearing the 650-week mark include AC/DC's 'Back in Black' and Drake's 'Take Care'. 'Greatest Hits' also appears on other Billboard charts, including Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Top Hard Rock Albums.

Pink Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' remains the longest-charting album. 'Greatest Hits' is Queen's most enduring project on the Billboard 200, significantly surpassing the chart performance of their other releases.
