Nemo’s Debut Album ‘Arthouse’: Sonic Architecture Following the Eurovision Triumph

The Swiss singer-songwriter Nemo, who captured global attention and became a powerful symbol of musical liberation after securing victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the groundbreaking track “The Code”, has unveiled their highly anticipated debut studio album. Titled “Arthouse,” the record officially dropped on October 10, 2025.

This release is far more than a simple follow-up to massive commercial success; it serves as a deliberate declaration of a new, deeply personal, and artistically complex phase in their career. The album title itself suggests a move toward high conceptual artistry, positioning pop music within a framework of fine art.

“Arthouse” is an expansive collection comprising 14 tracks. The comprehensive tracklist features the globally recognized anthem “The Code,” alongside earlier singles “Unexplainable” and “Eurostar.” Nemo has characterized the album as a “sound gallery,” suggesting that each composition functions as a distinct piece of art or canvas.

The overall sonic landscape is a sophisticated fusion, blending accessible pop melodies with experimental electronic textures and moments of profound, poetic vulnerability. The record is structured with almost cinematic precision, demonstrating a meticulous approach to arrangement and sound design. This structural excellence was significantly enhanced by key collaborations, notably featuring contributions from Mia Gladstone and Liam Maye, who helped refine the album’s sophisticated sound palette.

The production journey for “Arthouse” was reportedly grueling, highlighting Nemo’s intense dedication to sonic purity. In a testament to extreme perfectionism, the artist famously worked for 30 consecutive hours without rest on the final day of production. This relentless pursuit of flawless execution is palpable throughout the work, manifesting in every minute detail, from the sparse, minimalist beats to the intricately layered and carefully constructed vocal harmonies.

The triumph at Eurovision 2024 generated a massive, accelerating interest in Nemo’s body of work. By the middle of 2025, their winning song, “The Code,” had already amassed over 150 million streams on Spotify. “Arthouse” now seeks to build upon this momentum, representing a natural progression for an artist unafraid to challenge conventional boundaries of genre, form, and personal expression.

To support the new material, Nemo is preparing for the extensive “Arthouse Tour” across Europe, scheduled to commence in November 2025. The itinerary includes stops at major venues throughout the United Kingdom, specifically listing London, Birmingham, and Manchester. The tour dates had previously been rescheduled, allowing Nemo the necessary time to finalize the material at their own pace—a period the artist described poetically as working “in silence between a breath and inspiration.”
