Miley Cyrus, preparing to release her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, has discussed the healing effect of her Grammy wins. During an appearance on The Zane Lowe Show on Apple Music 1, she detailed the significance of winning Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year for "Flowers."
Cyrus expressed that holding a Grammy felt like a tangible achievement. She admitted that after each album, she would reassure herself that she had accomplished her goals. Winning the Grammy for "Flowers" provided a sense of closure.
She emphasized that she never obsessed over winning a Grammy or wrote a song with that specific goal in mind. However, she acknowledged that the "kid in me" felt a sense of satisfaction. In addition to her solo wins, Cyrus and Beyoncé secured the 2025 Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration, "II MOST WANTED."
