Madonna is commemorating the 40th anniversary of her 1985 single "Dress You Up" with a special digital release. The three-track collection features a remix/edit, a 12-inch formal mix, and an instrumental mix of the song, originally from her 1984 album *Like a Virgin*. This release serves as a tribute to custom Barbie doll designers Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi, who recently passed away. Madonna has dedicated the release to them, expressing her appreciation for their work in dressing many of her iconic looks over the years.

Paglino and Grossi, known for their Magia2000 creations, were celebrated for their custom dolls inspired by pop culture icons, including Madonna. Their passion for the singer was evident in their designs, which faithfully recreated her most famous outfits. The duo tragically died in a car accident in Italy on July 27, 2025. In parallel, Madonna's remix album *Veronica Electronica*, a companion to her 1998 album *Ray of Light*, became available on July 25, 2025. "Dress You Up," originally released on July 31, 1985, was a significant hit, reaching number 5 in Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
