Mádé Kuti Releases New Album 'Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?'

Afrobeat artist Mádé Kuti has released his second studio album, 'Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?'. The album features 13 tracks that blend Afrobeat with elements of jazz, psychedelia, and rock. Notable songs include 'Take It All In Before The Lights Go Out', 'I Won’t Run Away', and 'Life As We Know It'.

In support of the album, Kuti has announced a listening event at the Afrikan Shrine, a cultural venue known for hosting musical events and social gatherings. The event is scheduled for July 27, 2025, and will include live performances and cultural expressions.

'Chapter 1: Where Does Happiness Come From?' continues Kuti's exploration of societal themes through music, encouraging listeners to reflect on personal growth and happiness. The album is available on various streaming platforms.
