Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars' collaborative single, "Die With a Smile," continues its reign on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. The song has returned to the No. 1 position, marking its tenth week at the top. This milestone is a first for both artists on this Billboard chart, which tracks audience impressions at U.S. radio stations with an adult-leaning pop focus.
"Die With a Smile" initially reached No. 1 in December of last year and continues its success into 2025, becoming Gaga's first chart-topper on the Adult Pop Airplay list. It outperformed her previous hits that peaked at No. 2, including "The Edge of Glory" and "Shallow."
Mars has had four No. 1 hits on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, but "Die With a Smile" has surpassed them all in terms of weeks at the top. Its ten weeks at No. 1 exceed the combined total of his other three chart-toppers: "Just the Way You Are," "Uptown Funk" (with Mark Ronson), and "When I Was Your Man." "Die With a Smile" has even doubled the time spent at the top by his second-longest leader, "Just the Way You Are," which held the position for five weeks.
