Queen is commemorating the 50th anniversary of their seminal 1975 album, "A Night at the Opera," and its iconic single, "Bohemian Rhapsody," with special reissue releases. The album "A Night at the Opera," originally released in November 1975, will be reissued on crystal clear vinyl with gold labels on October 17 in the global market and October 18 in the UK, coinciding with National Album Day.
"Bohemian Rhapsody" will also receive a special release on October 31, available in transparent blue heavyweight 7-inch and 12-inch vinyl formats, as well as a picture disc and cassette single. Guitarist Sir Brian May reflected on the album's significance, stating it "opened up the world for us," marking a pivotal moment in Queen's career. Drummer Roger Taylor added that the band was at the "peak of our confidence" during its creation, feeling capable of anything.
