Halsey and Amy Lee have collaborated on "Hand That Feeds," a new song for the film 'Ballerina,' which is scheduled to premiere on June 6, 2025. The music video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, integrates scenes from the movie and showcases the artists' signature styles.
Amy Lee expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration, noting that she and Halsey have been mutual fans for a long time. Lionsgate invited them to create a song for 'Ballerina,' resulting in this exciting partnership. The song was released on May 9, 2025.
Halsey has been a long-time admirer of Evanescence, even paying tribute to Amy Lee in 2024 by recreating the cover of "Fallen" to promote her album "The Great Impersonator." Evanescence also supported Halsey at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on May 14, 2025. Jordan Fish, ex-keyboardist of Bring Me The Horizon, took on the production duties for the song.
The film "Ballerina" follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) and takes place during the events of "John Wick 3 - Parabellum." The cast includes Anjelica Huston, Lance Reddick, Ian McShane, and Keanu Reeves.
Amy Lee has also confirmed that Evanescence is working on a new album, with the single “Afterlife” already released for the Netflix anime series Devil May Cry. A release date for the album is yet to be announced.
