"Stepper" serves as a precursor to their upcoming eighth studio album, "Motel Du Cap," set for release on August 8, 2025. This album marks the band's first studio release in seven years, following "Generation Rx" in 2018. The album's title was inspired by a performance at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in France during a friend's wedding in 2023, which reignited the band's creative passion.
