Grammy-nominated artist Eric Bellinger has released his latest album, "It All Makes Sense," on September 26, 2025. This project represents a significant step in his career, skillfully merging the rich qualities of R&B with the lively rhythms of Afrobeats. The album was developed in Cape Town, South Africa, and features collaborations with various African artists, demonstrating a deep engagement with the continent's music scene.

The lead single, "Understood (Remix)," exemplifies this blend and features Nigerian artist Tiwa Savage. Bellinger has expressed long-standing admiration for Savage, with their collaboration facilitated by producer Harmony Samuels, a relationship that has existed for over a decade. Another track, "Vogue," originated from Bellinger's #OpenVerseChallenge and includes a fan-submitted verse. A deluxe remix of "Vogue" is set to feature rapper Wale.

To promote the album, Bellinger undertook a media tour across Nigeria and Ghana in October 2025 and is scheduled to perform at the Megastar Man of the Decade Awards. He has also launched his independent distribution label, All Wins Entertainment, aimed at supporting emerging talent in the music industry.

The increasing global influence of Afrobeats is evident as artists incorporate its sounds into genres like R&B and hip-hop, leading to widespread chart success. Bellinger's "It All Makes Sense" serves as a prime example of this cross-cultural musical exchange, highlighting how diverse sonic elements can be authentically combined. The album's production in Cape Town further emphasizes Africa's growing role as a center for musical innovation and collaboration.

The album «It All Makes Sense» is a continuation of his previous work «It'll All Make Sense Later» from 2024, which was also recorded in Cape Town and explored the fusion of R&B with Afrobeats rhythms. Bellinger describes this process as «faith in the journey», a transformative journey that pushed him to boldly explore new musical territory, feeling both authentic and global. The fusion of Afrobeats and R&B is currently one of the brightest trends in music, creating infectious rhythms and soulful melodies that resonate with listeners worldwide.

In support of his new release, Bellinger will also embark on the «Men of R&B» tour alongside Jagged Edge and Lloyd, starting in November 2025. This tour promises to be a celebration of R&B culture, showcasing a multi-generational lineup of artists who have shaped the genre.
