Ed Sheeran, Dave Grohl, and John Mayer Unite on 'Drive' for 2025 'F1' Movie Soundtrack

Ed Sheeran, Dave Grohl, and John Mayer have collaborated on the song 'Drive' for the soundtrack to the upcoming 'F1' movie, titled 'F1 The Album'. The 'F1' film, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, is scheduled for release on June 27, 2025.

Sheeran, known for his hit 'Bad Habits,' previously released a heavy metal version of the song with Bring Me The Horizon in 2022. Grohl, former Nirvana drummer, contributed on drums, while Mayer played guitar for the track. Sheeran teased the collaboration on Instagram, mentioning its release alongside the movie next month.

The 'F1' movie soundtrack features various artists, including Don Toliver, Doja Cat, Chris Stapleton, RAYE, and more. The album, featuring 17 tracks, is set to be released on June 27, 2025.
