Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

Blood Orange, the musical project led by Dev Hynes, has announced the release of their upcoming album, 'Essex Honey,' scheduled for August 29, 2025, under RCA Records. This marks Hynes' first full-length release in six years, following the 2019 mixtape 'Angel's Pulse' and the 2018 album 'Negro Swan'.

'Essex Honey' features a diverse array of guest artists, including Lorde, Caroline Polachek, Daniel Caesar, Mustafa, Turnstile's Brendan Yates, and author Zadie Smith. The album comprises 14 tracks, with two singles, 'Somewhere in Between' and 'Mind Loaded,' already available for streaming. 'Mind Loaded' notably includes contributions from Lorde, Caroline Polachek, and Mustafa.

'Essex Honey' is described as a reflective work that delves into themes of family, grief, and the healing power of music, drawing from Hynes' experiences growing up in Essex, England. The album is available for pre-order on various platforms, including the official Blood Orange store.
