The global music group BLACKPINK concluded its 'DEADLINE' World Tour on January 26, 2026, in Hong Kong. The seven-month tour included 33 sold-out stadium performances across Asia, North America, and Europe, drawing an audience exceeding two million attendees. This run establishes the quartet as the highest-grossing touring act among female K-pop groups within the measured period, succeeding the 'Born Pink World Tour' which hosted 1.8 million people between October 2022 and September 2023.

The conclusion of the tour immediately shifted focus to the group's future collective projects, following member addresses that addressed prior disbandment speculation. YG Entertainment has confirmed a new group project is forthcoming. This release is scheduled against the backdrop of each member establishing independent company foundations, including Jennie's ODD ATELIER and Lisa's LLOUD, which manage their individual endeavors.

BLACKPINK's next official musical offering will be their third mini-album, also titled 'DEADLINE,' set for release on February 27, 2026. This EP marks their first group project since the 2022 album 'Born Pink' and will feature five tracks, including the previously released single "Jump." The album's arrival immediately follows the final leg of the tour, suggesting a conceptual link between the live performances and the new studio material.

The 'DEADLINE' tour, marketed as the group's inaugural all-stadium tour, began on July 5, 2025, at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea. The economic impact of the tour was significant, with the Kaohsiung stops alone reportedly generating over NT$300 million in local tourism revenue. The group's contractual relationship for group activities with YG Entertainment was formally renewed in December 2023, allowing members to pursue parallel individual ventures.

The members are advancing their individual structures, with Jennie's ODD ATELIER and Lisa's LLOUD focusing on music and entertainment vision. Rosé remains the only member whose solo venture has not been publicly detailed, following Jisoo's reported partnership with her brother's company, Blissoo. The forthcoming 'DEADLINE' EP is positioned to influence the K-pop landscape early in 2026, continuing the group's established industry influence.
