Astles' Debut Album: A Tribute and Musical Journey

Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

Liverpool-based singer-songwriter Astles has launched his debut album, 'Soundtrack For The 21 Bus Home,' on May 30, 2025. The album is a tribute to his late uncle, Joseph Deans. The inspiration for the album came from his uncle's mixtape of the same name.

The album comprises eleven tracks, featuring singles such as 'We Could've Been Anything' and 'Joe Are You Listening?'. The latter is a song dedicated to his uncle, exploring themes of loss and mental health. Astles' music incorporates emotive lyrics and a variety of musical influences.

Sophie Ellis, known for her work with artists like Michael Kiwanuka, produced the album. Astles collaborated with musicians, including Bill Ryder-Jones. The album is available on platforms like Bandcamp and Apple Music.
