Edited by: Inna Horoshkina One

Alicia Keys is set to release a special 20th-anniversary vinyl edition of her seminal MTV Unplugged performance, titled "Unplugged (20th Anniversary)". This deluxe double-LP set is scheduled for release on October 3, 2025, commemorating the intimate concert originally recorded on July 4, 2005, at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The anniversary edition will feature bonus tracks, including the medley "Goodbye/Butterflyz" and "How Come You Don't Call Me," which are being made available on vinyl for the first time. These additions offer fans a more complete experience of the memorable evening.

The original MTV Unplugged performance by Alicia Keys marked a significant moment in music history. It was the first Unplugged performance by a female artist to debut at number one on the charts and recorded the highest debut for an MTV Unplugged session since Nirvana's 1994 performance. The album has sold over one million copies in the United States and more than 1.5 million worldwide. In 2006, the "Unplugged" performance earned Keys four Grammy nominations, including Best R&B Album.

The release of "Unplugged (20th Anniversary)" offers a chance for both long-time fans and new listeners to experience the magic of this landmark concert, appreciating the artistry that has continued to resonate through the decades.
