Evanescence Announces New Music and 'Devil May Cry' Soundtrack Feature

Evanescence is currently working on new music for their next album. The band's frontwoman recently mentioned that the creative process is very important to them right now. This announcement comes with the release of their song "Afterlife," which is on the soundtrack for the new Netflix adaptation of the action-adventure game *Devil May Cry*.

"Afterlife" was released on March 27. The band has stated that their main focus this year is creating new music. While there's no specific release date for the new album yet, the band has been actively writing and recording since their tour ended in November.

Besides their studio work, Evanescence has several concert appearances scheduled this year. They will support Halsey at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on May 14 and will be the special guests of My Chemical Romance at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on September 13. The band is also set to perform at the Louder Than Life festival in Kentucky on September 21 and support Metallica in Australia and New Zealand in November.
