Zakk Wylde anticipates Black Sabbath's farewell concert in Birmingham to be a memorable event, especially with numerous bands performing Sabbath songs. He also expressed hope that Ozzy Osbourne will decide to tour again after the event. Andrew Watt, Osbourne's producer, mentioned that Osbourne is preparing for the show and that his voice remains in excellent condition.

Meanwhile, The Roots commemorated the 30th anniversary of their album 'Do You Want More?!!!??!' at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York. The anniversary run featured a three-night, six-show series from March 13th-15th which sold out instantly. Black Thought and Questlove delivered a performance, revisiting songs not played live in decades. Special guests like Rahzel, Ursula Rucker, and Dice Raw also joined the celebration, with celebrities such as Dave Chappelle and Busta Rhymes in attendance.
