Jessica Biel is fueling speculation about potential marital issues with her husband, Justin Timberlake. The actress's recent comments have raised eyebrows.

In an interview with Radar Online, Biel discussed her character Chloe in the upcoming thriller series, 'The Better Sister.' She expressed a personal connection to the character's experience of facing controversy and seeking privacy.

"I can understand sometimes feeling like you have to put on a happy face," Biel stated, "or you know, smile and kind of grin and bear it. I've definitely done that in my past before." She also admitted to understanding the desire to shield aspects of one's personal life.

Biel further noted that her character dealt with scandal in a "very dysfunctional" manner. She expressed a desire to portray a more functional approach to handling similar situations.

Hinting at possible parallels in her own life, Biel explained, "You're finding something that is in your life that is parallel to something that you understand or a touchpoint that you can connect to that your character is going through." She added that these connections can be both abstract and linear.

According to an insider, Biel and Timberlake, who married in 2012 and have two sons, are reportedly undergoing a "trial separation." 'The Better Sister' is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on May 29, 2025.
