Britney Spears, 43, reportedly received a warning from authorities after smoking a cigarette on a private flight. The incident occurred during a flight from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to Los Angeles on Thursday. Sources indicate Spears was also consuming alcoholic beverages at the time.

Flight attendants became concerned when Spears lit the cigarette. She was instructed to extinguish it, which she reportedly did. While smoking on private jets is not universally prohibited, it is often subject to the owner's discretion.

Despite complying with the request, sources described Spears as "difficult." Authorities allegedly met her upon deplaning and issued a warning before allowing her to leave. Neither LAX nor JSX, the private plane company, offered a comment on the alleged incident.

Representatives for Spears did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The incident follows Spears' recent vacation time in Mexico. She has shared videos and photos of herself dancing and posing topless on social media.

Spears recently ended her relationship with Paul Richard Soliz. An insider revealed that her inner circle was relieved about the breakup after a turbulent relationship.
