Ben Affleck's Desperate Bid: Selling Beverly Hills Mansion Despite Financial Losses

Actor Ben Affleck is reportedly willing to sell the Beverly Hills mansion he purchased with Jennifer Lopez, even if it means incurring significant financial losses. This decision marks a final symbolic severing of ties with their ended marriage.

The opulent property, acquired in 2023 for $60.8 million, was intended to be their marital home. The mansion boasts three floors, spanning 38,000 square feet, featuring 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, a guest penthouse, a gym, a boxing ring, and parking for 80 cars. Despite its lavish amenities, the property has struggled to find a buyer.

An insider revealed that the price of the villa has been reduced by $8 million. However, Affleck seems unconcerned about the financial hit. He is reportedly eager to sell the property to definitively break the last remaining connection to Lopez.

Sources close to Affleck indicate he was initially hesitant about buying the house with Lopez, preferring more modest accommodations and considering the price excessive. Lopez, on the other hand, envisioned a romantic, European-style space. Disagreements over the property choice reportedly fueled arguments during their marriage.

Following their divorce, the house has become a symbol of their failed relationship. A potential $64 million offer that fell through in September only amplified the frustration. The once-dreamed-of residence has now become an emotional burden. "It's a small price to pay for Ben," the source added. "He just wants to move on."

Affleck is prepared to lose millions to close the chapter with Lopez. For him, personal peace is more valuable than any sum of money.
