Angelina Jolie Prepares for International Move, Lists Los Angeles Estate

Edited by: Татьяна Гуринович

Angelina Jolie is reportedly preparing for a significant life change, planning to relocate abroad as her twins, Knox and Vivienne, approach their 18th birthdays. This transition follows the finalization of her divorce from Brad Pitt in December 2024, concluding an eight-year legal process. Jolie's continued residence in Los Angeles was previously tied to custody arrangements with Pitt, with her stated intention to move internationally once her children reached legal adulthood.

In line with these plans, Jolie has begun the process of selling her historic Los Angeles estate, which she acquired in 2017 for $24.5 million. The 1913-built residence, featuring six bedrooms and ten bathrooms, was once owned by director Cecil B. DeMille. Jolie's interest in international living is well-documented, with a particular focus on Cambodia, where she has established property and engaged in extensive humanitarian efforts through the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation. Her humanitarian work in Cambodia, which began around 2001, includes efforts in rural development, environmental conservation, and support for education and health initiatives. Despite her aspirations, her children have reportedly developed strong attachments to Los Angeles and are pursuing their own career paths there. Nevertheless, Jolie appears resolute in embarking on this new chapter, prioritizing her family's privacy and security while seeking to spend more time in Cambodia, the birthplace of her eldest son, Maddox.
