The series is a remake of the Colombian telenovela "Señora Isabel." Rivera plays Eloísa Obregón de Hidalgo, a woman rediscovering herself after her husband's infidelity. The series is available on ViX, TelevisaUnivision's streaming platform. This return is happening amidst swirling rumors of a romance with her co-star Diego Klein, which she has denied, calling the media's approach "crude." Adding fuel to the fire, actress Cynthia Klitbo alleged that Rivera's ex-husband, former President Enrique Peña Nieto, was unfaithful during their marriage.
