Leighton Meester, best known for her role in 'Gossip Girl,' is set to guest star alongside her husband, Adam Brody, in the second season of the Netflix series 'Nobody Wants This.' Meester will play Abby, described as Joanne's (Kristen Bell) middle school nemesis who is now an Instagram mommy influencer.
The series, inspired by the life of Erin Foster, follows Joanne's relationship with Rabbi Noah (Adam Brody), despite their differing beliefs. Meester's addition to the cast has generated excitement, especially given her real-life connection with Brody.
This isn't the first time Meester and Brody have worked together, having previously appeared in projects like 'Single Parents' and 'River Wild.' The couple, married since 2014, are known for their mutual support and admiration. Production for season 2 of 'Nobody Wants This' is slated to begin in March 2025.
