LG Electronics introduced its updated LG SIGNATURE kitchen offerings at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Orlando, Florida. The event, running from February 17 to 19, 2026, at the Orange County Convention Center, serves as the largest trade exposition for the North American kitchen and bath sector, an industry valued at $235 billion. This presentation marked the tenth anniversary of the LG SIGNATURE line, which now encompasses ten product categories, emphasizing the brand's focus on integrating sophisticated design with advanced intelligence.

The debut centered on two distinct product lines: the Iconic Collection and the Seamless Collection, each adhering to a specific aesthetic principle. The Iconic Collection features a timeless design, incorporating refined finishes and distinctive brass accents intended to create a lasting visual statement in contemporary kitchens. A key appliance in this line is the LG SIGNATURE 36-inch range, which incorporates Gourmet AI-enabled technology designed to ensure precise and consistent cooking results with minimal user input.

In contrast, the Seamless Collection prioritizes a minimalist integration, aiming to visually merge with the home’s architecture through flexible placement options and flush panels that maintain uninterrupted sightlines. Appliances in this series, such as the over-the-range microwave, have been updated to include advanced functions like air sous vide and air frying capabilities. This commitment to integration is further demonstrated by the LG 36-inch Built-In Depth French Door Refrigerator, which utilizes a Zero Clearance hinge system for flexible installation adjacent to cabinetry.

Underpinning the functionality across these premium lines is LG's proprietary AI Core-Tech, which integrates artificial intelligence directly with core appliance components, including motors and compressors. This technology facilitates intelligent performance optimization, enhanced energy efficiency, and personalized user experiences. For example, the gas pro range within the Iconic Collection offers ThinQ connectivity for remote monitoring via a smartphone application, while the integration of conversational AI, based on Large Language Models (LLMs), allows appliances to provide personalized suggestions for daily choices.

LG’s broader strategy, presented at KBIS 2026, also addresses the business-to-business market with builder-focused appliance packages and the ThinQ Pro platform for customer support. The company's emphasis on intelligence is evident across its portfolio; for instance, the Gourmet AI feature in wall ovens is capable of recognizing over 85 dishes to automatically determine the ideal cooking settings. The presentation underscored LG's expanding presence in the North American consumer and builder markets through design-led innovations powered by the LG ThinQ AI platform.
